Krust – Warhead (Wez G End Of Terror Remix)

This remix I did was originally for a remix competition (that unfortunately I didn’t win). The original Warhead song by Bristol’s very own Full Cycle memeber and dnb pioneer, DJ Krust, was an absolute darkside jungle classic record. It was a real pleasure working with the original stems in my studio. As I was making it, a big world event occurred when Osam Bin Laden was assassinated by the American CIA. It was the culmination of the USA’s war against terror post 9/11. President Obama was giving a live speech on television about the killing and I just thought I’ll use that speech and chuck it into the remix as a sam0ple which is what I did…. The end result is a bit messy but I love it. SOme close music friends of mine claim that this is my best piece of production work to date. Unsure about that but check out a bit of Wez G on the drum n bass!

THis was a few years after making the remix when I met DJ Krust when he was DJing in Fabric, London with Roni Size and Reprazent…. It was a great night and in the main room Laurent Garnier was banging out LIVE French Techno…

As I side note I checked out the name End Of Terror that I invented for this remix and the website domain https://endofterror.org was available so I bought it. I thought I want to put this website and brand to good use so I had a think and then decided to launch a campaign about the shocking mental health treatment I have had over many many years, since I was 19 in 1997. End Of Terror became: THE FIGHT FOR TRUTH AND JUSTICE AND THE END OF TYRANNY AND EVIL IN MENTAL HEALTH AND PSYCHIATRY.

The website took off and was a real thorn in the side of my enemiees in the NHS and police who so disruot my life using the ‘mental health’ excuse to torture and abuse me. It became a movement and has helped many people out. I am proud of it. The website has recently had a few issues and is back under reconstruction at the present time. The Krust – Warhead project was also my follow up work really for the infamous Wez G – Taliban House DJ mix I did some time before 2011.
