Today, my partner, Nicola and Edwards, and myself went out on a Catherine Fookes leaflet drop for the Labour Party in our own Dewstow Ward and Oakley Way Street. Tony Easson is the ward counsellor and we were just helping him out as if we hadn’t have dropped the leaflets the task would have fallen to him. It was hard graft as there are a lot of blocks of flats in the street and lots of stairs to climb. leafletting is more difficult than #LabourDoorstep as you get to speak and interact with people doing doorstep. Leaflet delivering is pure physical slog. God knows how postmen do thier jobs every day. Maximum respect for posties.
