Labour Doorstep, Magor, Monmouthshire

Today we were out in Magor again for an early afternoon #LabourDoorstep session, promoting Catherine Fookes, the Labour Party candidate for MP in Monmouthshire. There were only a few of us out today: Cllr Tony Easson from Caldicot and Cath’s permanent worker, Ryan. I had time for quick beer at the Italian Café in Magor Square just to try and absorb the Magor ambience. It’s a nice little town, just off the M4 motorway junction, just inside Wales. The people were responsive and pleased to see us. It was a pleasant area that we were in. Luckily, after the work, Ryan was heading off home to Bridgend in his car and he agreed to pop me up to Cardiff University on the way where I had another political event planned.
