After the morning shift with Chepstow Labour, I was back with Severnside Labour in Portskewett to do some #LabourDoorstep in this village. We have to cover every nook and cranny in Monmouthshire, promoting the message of Catherine Fookes, in order to get her elected as MP for the Labour Party. Cllrs Peter Strong, Francis John Crook, Tony Easson, Angela Sandles and Chairman Henry Higgins were all out on parade with me. It was nice and sunny and we posed for this photo after our session with a nice backdrop of the River Severn in the background. Portskewett has a Conservative Cllr but there are a lot of Labour voters here from what I can tell through speaking to people on the doorstep.
I managed to have a nice pint of Guinness in the local pub, The Portskewett Inn. Good to support local business. #MyGoodnessMyGuinness
