Labour Doorstep, Dewstow Ward, Caldicot

Today we were out doing #LabourDoorstep in my home ward, Dewstow Ward, Caldicot. This was for Catherine Fookes‘ election campaign to become Labour Party MP for Monmouthshire. We were only a small team. I was joined by John from Caerphilly and also Cllrs Angela Sandles and Henry Higgins from Severnside branch. It was right on my doorstep so not far too travel at all. Unfortunately, my broken femur injury flared up and I collapsed on the street during the session and had to be escorted home. I hope that it gets better soon as the general election is imm9inent and we need all the boots on the ground to ensure victory!
