I seem to spend all my time totally focused on American chick pop and I’ve been mistakenly fooling myself into believing all music emanating from our own island’s shores is naff. Olivia Dean is right on one with 44 million Spotify listeners. (She even puts viral Spotify Wez G in the shade!) This ‘So Easy (To Fall In Love)’ is really a beautiful, melodic deep song with wonderful singing and it has opened my eyes to a fresh U.K. talent that is clearly helping us stand our own in the cultural milieu of world music.
