Jimmy Cliff – I Can See Clearly Now (Rest In Peace)

I just turned on the BBC News at 10 to hear the terrible news that Jamaican Reggae star singer, Jimmy Cliff, has passed away at 81. I love a bit of reggae and I love the style of Jimmy Cliff. It is accessible, original and his songs stand the test of time. I just wanted to include him in my Random Songs collection with a classic song of his: I Can See Clearly Now – to pay homage and tribute to a legend and great musician, an inspiration to the world and a cultural icon. Rest In Peace, Jimmy. May your soul continue to shine in the legacy you have bequeathed us in your music.
