This U2 – Where The Streets Have No Name video just commemorates an iconic moment in pop music history and is so inspirational. The band set up an impromptu rooftop gig in downtown Los Angeles and just deliver to a street crowd the most spectacular performance. In true rock n’ roll rebellious fashion. this demonstration of music culture alerts the authorities who are scared by the political power of the mass congregation supporting the Irish band and choose to aggressively act to shut it down. I just feel so inspired by the revolutionary power of music as demonstrated by Bono et al on this 1980s music video, a mainstay for the early days of MTV. It has made it to Wez G Random Songs now…. an even greater accolade!
