Match Preview: Leeds United vs Liverpool (06.12.25)

After a draw last time out against Sunderland we travel to Leeds United this evening, looking to turn our form around. We have a good away record at Leeds and haven’t lost our previous six games at their ground. A win today would mean that Arne Slot records his 50th victory in charge of the Reds. Leeds proved against Chelsea last Wednesday that they are a challenging side to face at home. Liverpool have a great scoring record against Leeds though and I get the feeling that something is going to give today and that there will be an abundance of goals. Ex toffee, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, provides that main attacking threat for Daniel Parke’s Leeds side. typical of Evertonians I’m sure he will be keen to leave his mark upon us.

Connor Bradley, Milos Kerkez, Hugo Ekitiké and Curtis Jones all regain positions in the starting XI. Mohamed Salah starts on the bench.

Let’s hope the Reds are out to play today and I’ll feel a little less embarrassed about my Leeds sheep video.

Liverpool: Alisson, Van Dijk, Konate, Kerkez, Wirtz, Szoboszlai, Bradley, Jones, Gakpo, Ekitike, Gravenberch.

Subs: Mamardashvili, Gomez, Endo, Isak, Mac Allister, Salah, Chiesa, Robertson, Ngumoha.
