I am a bit slow on the uptake with pop music and it takes me a while to get down with it and discover all these great new pop artists. When I heard that they were interviewing Rita Ora on BBC Breakfast this morning my onboard DJ radar started beeping and I thought, yep, heard of Rita Ora – she’s a good’un. I’d slammed her ‘Anywhere’ track on Wez G Vine Line Episode 2. So I boiled the kettle and got ready for a music breakfast. It’s been a pretty weekus horribilis for the beeb so anything to the rescue today would help…. Rita came on, lovely young lady – she’s been away for a few years – she got married to a big New Zealand Hollywood Film Director, Taika Waititi so a good Kiwi film from him will sort my Saturday night entertainment out later on. Back to Rita and she’s just released a new album ‘You & I’ and here on Wez G – Random Songs I’ve included Rita Ora – ‘Don’t Think Twice’ which is track off the new album. It’s good news to see Rita back in business and her interview on BBC Breakfast was really good. Naga Munchetty wasn’t there on the sofa this morning but Charlie Stait held the fort pretty well. It was the best episode of BBC Breakfast in a good month or so. I shall try and bang a Rita song or two off her new album on future episodes of Wez G – Vine Line
