Jane Mudd was successfully elected as the South East Wales Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for the Labour Party. I helped on the campaign for her, both delivering leaflets and knocking doors and canvassing, doing #LabourDoorstep I hope that Jane does a great job in her new role and as someone who has had multiple problem with local policing I shall be endeavouring to be using her services as an elected government official.
There was a good attendance at the celebration in Newport. Jessica Morden MP and Deb Davies were here as were pleny others from the local Labour Party.
The new Newport Venue, The Corn Exchange is excellent and I was kindly shown around. I’d encourage any promoters or bands top get in touch with them if they are planning a music event here in the lovely city of Newport.
A nice pint to be had in the rock bar opposite too….. #MyGoodnessMyGuinness
